The tee shot can be made with anything from a two-iron to a driver depending on preference and conditions. The plateau left is the ideal landing area, but there is plenty of room right. Favoring the left side of the green is the best approach; avoid the deep bunkers and arroyo right.

This hole is a good birdie opportunity from the middle and forward tees. It is uphill, against the wind and the most difficult hole from the rear tees. Drive it right of the fairway bunker into the wide landing area. The green is receptive - favor the left side to avoid the large bunker on the right.

Drive the ball left center on this short par 5. The fairway is extremely wide before the right fairway bunkers, but narrows on the longer shots. On the second, carry the fairway bunker left, if possible. This sets up the wedge shot needed for a birdie on the small two-level green.

A fairway wood shot left center will land short of the trees on the left. The longer the drive, the better chance for a level lie and an ideal angle into the green. Beware of the severe false front. Balls landing on the front of this two-level green will roll off.

Long par 3 - good luck! The green slopes right to left. There is trouble at the left and right rear of the green as the native areas behind are closer than they appear.

This long par 5 descends 100 feet from tee to green. Drive it right down the alley. Don't try to cut the corner to the right until the second shot. There is plenty of room left for a lay-up. The green falls away slightly and the approach accommodates a run-up shot.

If you err...err to the right. The green appears wide; it angles considerably from front right to back left. A left pin requires a longer carry than center or right. The pond is in play for shots missed left of a front pin. The undulating green is split by a hollow.

Drive it straight between the two Ponderosas. There is room right to avoid the arroyo on the left. Long hitters drive toward the right greenside bunker. A lay-up off the tee allows a line toward the fairway bunkers. The green slopes away from the right side of the fairway; the left side offers a better angle of approach.

There is plenty of room right for shorter hitters. Longer hitters drive left of the fairway bunkers; there is more room than there appears. The challenge of this large green is the ridge that separates the back left side from the back.
